|Summary:||The 1st segment is about the recent escalation of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, including a report by James Bennet, New York Times bureau chief in Jerusalem and an interview with Israeli novelist David Grossmann. The 2nd segment is about the threats to the survival of the world's coral reefs, focusing on the coastal reef at Tamandare, Brazil. The 3rd segment is about Anser Mehmood, a Pakistani truck-driver who was arrested in Washington D.C. after Sept. 11 and is still being detained by the FBI. He was one of more than a thousand men of Middle Eastern and South Asian origin arrested by the FBI, most of whom were charged with immigration violations and not with terrorist acts. His wife and children have been deported and he remains in federal custody.
