|Summary:||Before delving into the button issues with couples, how do you get them to speak to each other without defenses or explosive arguments running rampant? Imago couples therapy provides the structure for clients to have calm, empathetic conversations with each other. Pat Love demonstrates the process with a couple who report that they don't know how to discuss problems without tensions running high. Love carefully and adeptly helps the husband communicate fears and requests to the wife reflect them back correctly. The couple leaves the session optimistic, with new tools of communications, and insight into unique ways they can demonstrate their love for each other.
